How to tackle with pain during sex?

I recently got married and my husband me were both virgins. Well we kind of had sex exactly four times. I mean neither of us did come but we did go through the regular stuff. The first time it was very painful. But then the next three times the pain was there. Though its not intolerable. Whenever he moves inside me I can feel the pain with every move, but its not bad. Can anyone tell me like how many times before I should get alarmed about the pain. I mean you know go visit a doctor and stuff.

It all depends on the person.

For me it hurt the first time, but every time after I was fine (although yes there is a little pain at first, but that goes away quickly).

There is a chance that he may be a bit big for you and that may require 1) giving yourself a chance to "stretch out" and 2) he may need to be aware that he has to be much more gentle and maybe not go in as far.

You two will need to communicate during sex to try different positions and whatnot and talk about what is working and what isn't. It may seem awkward at first but it definitely pays off in the end.
