What characteristics of the opposite sex do men and women each hold as the most important generally?

Are looks really everything with guys? Do women only want money and power? I know this is strictly an opinion and perspective question but I'm writing a paper comparing and contrasting the way men and women choose partners and I'd like some input from others. We can use personal interviews in our paper and I don't want to interview my mom and my best friend like everyone else in the class.

stereptypically women only want money and power but seriously ask yourself if you could build a relationship and keep it based of that ?

women generally respect a man with more power and money, but i think they also like the sense of humour, caring, strong trait and well of a full personality.
